The Simmons family has my deepest condolences. Losing a loved one is so difficult, but may this scripture at 2 Thessalonians. 2:16&17; have some consolation for you during this difficult time. It lovingly reads, “Moreover, may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness, 17 comfort your hearts and make you firm” during this challenging time in your life.

Willie, you and Sam were so instrumental in molding so many young Christians, like myself, from Southwest Baptist Church. Thank you both for living Christ-filled lives and treating us like your kids. May God continue to bless you as you find your new normal without Sam.
