James Gary Agers, 71, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2019 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born in Monroe County, Kentucky to James Lester Agers and Christine Evelyn Proffitt Agers.
Gary has chosen cremation with memorial services to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Clarksville, Tennessee on July 27 at 3 p.m.
Gary is survived by his wife, Donna Beem Agers; son, Lee Mickel Agers and granddaughter, Sumer Lee Agers; sons, James Jacob Agers, Stepson Richard Dobie; stepdaughter, Robin Dobie. Also survived by his mother, Christine Evelyn Proffitt Agers; and brother, Timothy Kelly Agers.
Gary was a graduate of Gamaliel Consolidated High School in Gamaliel, Kentucky. He had many talents in art and music. His musical talents were his most accomplished with abilities to play multiple instruments. The keyboard was his most loved and accomplished instrument. He had many venues as a soloist and band member in multiple bands.
