Virginia's Story

Virginia Adams Nickols, 88, a native of Barren County, passed away at her residence in Munfordville.
She was the daughter of the late Aaron Arthur Alexander Adams and Hattie Ellen Gillock Adams. She was a retired caregiver to the elderly.
Survivors include two sons, Clint Seay Nickols III of Elizabethtown and Thomas Kevin Nickols of Munfordville; a daughter-in-law, Annie Gervois-Nickols; three grandchildren, Heather Nickols Durning, Holly Nickols Crosiar and Nathan Louis Nickols; three great-grandchildren, Robby, Carrington and Vivian; one brother, Tommy Adams, and his wife Doris of Shepherdsville; and one sister-in-law, Juanita Bybee of Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Seay Nickols Jr.; one brother, Charles H. Bybee Jr.; and one sister, Eleanor Bybee Rice in March 2017.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
