Troy Edward Carney, 58, of Adolphus, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Edmonson County, the son of the late Edward Denton Carney and Barbara Gayle Baise Carney. He was a welder and worked at Halton Company in Scottsville for more than 11 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Eric Carney (Christina) of Bowling Green and Joey Carney of Pensacola, Fla.; one grandson, Alex Carney of Pensacola, Fla.; five sisters, Debora Carney of Indianapolis, Ind., Pam Carney of Glasgow, Dana Riddle (Darrin) of Indianapolis, Ind., Tonya Archey (David) of Glasgow and Anna Blair (Tony) of Glasgow; one brother, Kevin Carney of Park City; two nephews, Shane and Chris Bishop of Glasgow; and one niece, Amber Archey of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at A.F. Crow Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 4 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday until time for services at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family requests, in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Barren River Animal Welfare Association, P.O. Box 171 Glasgow, KY 42142-0171.
