Rollin L. Crowe, 83, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at NHC Health Care in Glasgow.
He was born at Temple Hill, the son of the late Lela Mae Crowe. Rollin was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the U.S. Army with more than 20 years of service. More recently, he had been employed at the Firestone Plant in Bowling Green and T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a member of Bethel Independent Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Stuart Crowe; a daughter, Deborah Hamilton (Ronnie), of Sulphur Lick; three sons, Richard Crowe (Joretta), of Frankfort, Brian Crowe (Kim) and Chris Crowe, both of Glasgow; eight grandchildren: Jeffrey Hamilton (Joanna), Kevin Hamilton, Samuel, Rachel, Kirsten and Caden Crowe and Stephen and Bradley Crowe (Lindsay). Three great-grandchildren also survive, Emma, Ellie and Easton Hamilton.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Bethel Independent Baptist Church. Burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Saturday from noon until 5 p.m. and Sunday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until time for services.
Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Charities or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
