Nina Mae's Story
Nina Mae Piper Froggett, 87, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
Born on Jan. 17, 1930, in Metcalfe County, she was a lifelong resident of Hiseville, and was very active in her community. She was a member of Hiseville Baptist Church, a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Wendell Clarage Froggett; her parents, Dorothy and Lee Owen Piper; and a brother, William Owen Piper.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Dye (Barry), of Smiths Grove; and a son, Harrison Froggett, of Hiseville. She had four grandchildren: Allison Froggett, Chrissy Anderson (Marty), Adam Froggett (Misty) and Casey Kye (Kasey). Great-grandchildren include: Blake, Lauren and Madison Anderson and Georgia Mae Froggett and Jack Dye.
Visitation is Thursday, May 25, beginning at 3 p.m. at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, at the funeral home.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
