Nelda Marie Siddens, 80, of Glasgow died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.
She was born in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late Lee and Dollie Riddle Welsh. Nelda was a homemaker and farmed alongside her husband, the late John Lewis Siddens. She loved to garden and was a member of the Glasgow Farmer's Market for many years. She was a member of Boyd's Creek United Methodist Church and loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Robert Lewis Siddens (Edith) of Glasgow, David Lee Siddens (Reina) of Glasgow, Sandra McCoy (Lewis) of Bowling Green and Lisa Garner (Clark) of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Amanda S. Bivens (Justin), Tyler Siddens (Stephanie), Cheri S. Goble (Greg), Seth Garner, John Michael and Brandon McCoy; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Siddens, Alex and Ben Owens, Liam Goble and Emma Siddens; two step-grandchildren, Cristo Abraham Uribe Quiroz (Vianey) and Ana Bele'n Uribe Quiroz; three step-great-grandchildren, Iker Gael, Aylin Valeria and Alison Mayte; three brothers, Vernon, Legene and Lonnie Welsh of Summer Shade and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Myron and Reid Welsh; and two sisters, Neva Estes and Nella Mae Welsh.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12 at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday.
