James Thomas "Tommy" Reid, 81, of Glasgow died Friday, May 26, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Edmonton, he was the son of the late Tom Keel and Ella Mae Cooksey Reid. Mr. Reid was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and avid gun enthusiast. He was retired from RR Donnelley's and later was an over-the-road truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Reid of Glasgow; three daughters, Jennifer Coulter (Steve) of Clarksville, Tenn., Rhonda Hoggard (Russell) of Edmonton, and Melinda Hunt (Mark) of Glasgow; two sons, Russell Reid (Gina) and Joe Reid, both of Glasgow; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and his special K-9 companions, Soup and Dexter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Gay McMurtrey Reid; a son, Alan Reid; and two infant sons, James Thomas Reid II and Tom Keel Reid.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
