James Milton's Story
James Milton "Bug" Depp, 70, of Glasgow, died, Sunday, May 21, 2017, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
He was born in Glasgow, the son of the late Colbert Depp Sr. and Louise McMurtrey Depp.
He was a 1965 graduate of Glasgow High School and enjoyed playing basketball. James was a retired supervisor with Mid-State Recycling for more than 25 years, and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Glasgow.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Neal, of Glasgow; sons, The Rev. Timothy Depp, of Stone Mountain, Ga., James "Happy" Neal (Sherry), of Glasgow, Dwayne Depp (Sheri), of Lexington, and Randy Depp (Kessley), of Glasgow; daughter, Regina Hayden (Dennis), of Park City; grandchildren: Ashley Woodard, Kara Francis, Hallie Francis, Hydeia Depp, Dwayne Depp II, Tim Depp II and Zakai Stonerock; great-grandchildren, Anyia Woodard and Aynesti Woodard; and brothers, George Depp and Anthony Depp (Brenda), both of Glasgow.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Milton Depp Jr.; five brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Hopewell Baptist Church with burial in Barlow Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 until 8 p.m. Thursday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Friday from 9 a.m. until time for services at the church.
