Harmon H. Johnson Jr., 81, of Glasgow, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at NHC of Glasgow.
He was born in Slick Rock, the son of the late Harmon H. Johnson Sr. and Lorena Poore Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a self-employed painter and retired from the Glasgow Fire Department after 29 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Poynter Johnson, of Glasgow; one son, Ronnie Johnson, of Bowling Green; two stepsons, Chris Holley (Amanda), of Glasgow, and Jonathan Holley (Roberta), of Cave City; three step-grandchildren, Christopher Murrhee, Cody Holley and Nathaniel Lang, all of Glasgow; three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Johnson, of Nashville and Clura Johnson (Joyce), of Glasgow.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Gibbons and Gail Steen; and one sister-in-law, Cheryl Johnson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and on Tuesday until time for services.
