Donna Marie's Story
Donna Marie Yuda Turner, 55, of Glasgow, passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, surrounded by her family, at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.
Donna was born in New City, New York, Oct. 23, 1961, to Margaret and the late John Joseph Yuda Sr. Donna obtained her nursing degree from Western Kentucky University and took pride in working as a nurse at T.J. Samson Community Hospital for 34 years. She was married to the late Ricky Turner, of Glasgow. Donna was an avid cook, had a tremendous love for her animals and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Schwartz Yuda, of Hodgenville; siblings, John Joseph Yuda Jr. (Linda), of Louisville, Frank Yuda (Dale), of Tell City, Ind., Peggy Yuda Newton (Joe), of Hodgenville; nine nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and nephews. Donna is also survived by her stepdaughter, Angie Pennington (Jason); and stepgrandchildren, Hunter and Caroline Thompson.
Donna will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her wonderful spirit will be celebrated through a memorial service 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 11 a.m. until time for the service.
