Cunneen Poynter, 93, of Savoyard, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
She was the daughter of the late William Carver and Eula Bell London Nunn. She was a homemaker and member of Savoyard Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Buck Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by one daughter, JoNell (Stanley) Ferguson, of Savoyard; two sisters, Micky Minor, of Savoyard, and Clarine Nunn, of Center; one granddaughter, Tarah Jo (Chris) Mathews, of Savoyard; a step-granddaughter, Donna Sue Buckman, of Austin, Texas; one great-great-granddaughter, Layla Grayce Mathews, of Savoyard; and a step-great-great-grandson, Liam Ferguson Buckman of Austin, Texas.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Gordon Withers and Melvin Poynter; and two sisters, Correll Martin and Maureen Hatcher.
