Wilma Arlene Hogue, 92, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at Signature Health Care.
She was a daughter of the late Lawrence D. and Julia Cary Coffey. She was a graduate of Glasgow High School, she worked at JJ Newberry until she married in January of 1948, a wife and homemaker, worked at Community Store and Deli and St. Charles Kitchen until she retired at the age of 83. She was a member of the Westwood Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons: R.J. Hogue (Margaret) and Thomas Hogue (Karen); one daughter: Kay Hogue Spears; nine grandchildren: Tim Hogue (Amy), Kara Neidell (Jason), Terri Medcalfe (Khris), Derek Hogue, Sarah Hogue, Patrick Hogue, Joel Spears (Kristy), Sabrina Robertson (Billy) and Drew Sims; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother: Calvin Coffey (Carol); two sisters: Juanita Strange and Geneva Harvey; several nieces, nephews and the extended family at Signature Health Care.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Rumsey J. Hogue Sr.; one son: Jeff Hogue; two brothers: Happy and Shorty Coffey.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
