William Clarence Muckler, 88, died peacefully Friday morning, June 9, 2017, at The Masonic Home of Louisville.
He was born in Louisville, the son of Julius Muckler and Lillian Blanford.
He was a former city council member in Glasgow, and a 41-year employee of McKesson Drug Company, where he worked with pharmacies throughout South Central Kentucky. He was also inducted into the Male High School Hall of Fame in Louisville.
He is survived by two daughters, Peggy Tucker (Tim) and Beth Muckler; four sons: Bill Muckler (Watha), Matt Muckler (Sarah), Tim Muckler and Woody Muckler (Nancy); four grandchildren: Morgan Tucker, Alex Muckler, Katie Nielson, and Ben Muckler; one stepgrandchild, Jaclyn Lauderbach; one great-grandchild, McKenna Nielson; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Chloe and Parker Lauderback; one brother, Dr. Tom Blanford (Nancy); and his loving dog Hank.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; and two sons, Terry and Andy.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to The Home of The Innocents in Louisville.
