Virginia Dossey Keltner, 97, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green.
She was born Sept. 21, 1919, in Fountain Run, to Bert and Mertie Dossey. Ms. Keltner was the youngest of seven children which included William, Mike, Grady, Vernon, Iva and Ilene.
Ms. Keltner is survived by her only child, Dr. Frederick Clayton Miller, of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Claci Miller Juday and William Brents Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Neve and Burke Juday, all of Atlanta, Georgia. A stepson, Wallace Keltner; and a stepdaughter, Susan, also survive.
Ms. Keltner was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Clayton Miller; and her second husband, Eric S. Keltner.
A memorial service is planned at Bowling Green Retirement Village at 2 p.m. on June 10, 2017. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
