Sira Lucial Fawver
July 17, 1930 - December 5, 2020
Sira L. Fawver was born on July 17, 1930 in San Francisco CA. Sira fell asleep in death December 5, 2020 in Glasgow, KY.
Sira spent most of her life in California. In 1947 Sira married the love of her life, Andrew Fawver in Hawaii and then headed back home to San Francisco to await his return from active duty.
Sira was blessed with her daughter Linda Joyce in 1948 and then her son Andy Jr. in 1950.
From 1948-1960 Sira and Andrew lived with their two children in Finlay Ohio, but once again took her family back to her favorite place, San Francisco, CA where they lived until 1968.
Sira and Andrew then moved with her daughter and son-in-law to Sunnyvale, CA.
There they dedicated their lives to Jehovah God and became baptized members of Jehovah's Witnesses. Sira and her family served in the local Congregation from 1968-1983
In 1983 Sira and Andrew retired and moved to Winton, CA to be with their daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She spent many years there building a spiritual family while continuing her full-time ministry.
Sira and Andrew moved to Waterford, CA in 2001 to be close to their family due to Andrew's wavering health issues. In 2006 after almost 59 years of marriage Sira lost the love of her life in death. She stayed in Waterford one more year before her grandson Timothy convinced her to move to Glasgow, KY where she would be surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law, two of her grandchildren, and two of her great-grandchildren. Sira lived and served in the fulltime ministry in Glasgow for 12 years. She did this important work with her best friends Ruth Alt and Nicki Casto. Sira's life was dedicated to Jehovah and sharing his name with all who would listen.
Sira is survived by her daughter Linda Joyce and her husband Art Sr. and her son Andy Jr. She also has five grandchildren Kimberly Ann, Rebekah Joyce, Jamie Lynn, Susie Nava, and Joey Walker. They were also blessed with five grandchildren through marriage in 1981. Sira and Andrew also had 13 great-grandchildren.
Sira was always the first one on the dance floor and the last one off. She loved music as much as she did dancing. You could catch her dancing just about anywhere if the right song came on. Sira also enjoyed being with her friends and family. She always said as long as she had Jehovah, family and the congregation she would never want for anything.
Due to Covid-19 there will be a zoom service for family and friends given by her grandson Art Jr. December 12,2020

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
