Sherry's Story

Sherry Ann Delk, 46, of Glasgow, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at T.J. Samson Hospital.
She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of Terry and Mildred Dyer Delk, of Glasgow, who survive.
Sherry was an employee of the Hart County Board of Education and taught fourth grade at LeGrande School. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching the first-, second- and third- graders' Sunday school class.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by several aunts and uncles, Dana Branstetter (Lanny), of Horse Cave, Linda Smith and Brenda Yates, of Glasgow, Amel Delk Jr. (Susie), of Lillian, Alabama, Chess Delk, of Glasgow, Lanie Powell (Jerry), of Stanford, Anissa Krick (Nathan), of Hawaii, Jim Dyer (Pam), Jerry Dyer and Johnny Dyer, of Glasgow, and Marcey Milby (Gary), of Hodgenville; and several beloved cousins.
She was preceded in death by one uncle, Joe Dyer; and her grandparents, Amel and Mabel Bell Delk, and Jessie L. and Ina Wiley Dyer.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
