
Rosie Bell Waters Landers

She was the daughter of the late Rev. Claude and Melissa Stacy.
She was a former resident of Glasgow, Kentucky for 10 years. A homemaker and native Bedford County, Tennessee.
Rosie was the wife of Robert Clyde Waters, who died in 1964, and of Guy Landers, who died in 1978.
Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Arwood (Billy Clanton), of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Deborah (Marty) Varon, of Tampa, Florida, Lisa (Scott) Riddle, of Glasgow; sons, Ron (Marie) Waters, of Lynchburg, Tennessee, Gary (Anettte) Waters, of Murfreesboro, Tenessee. She is also survived by a sister, Maudie Brandon; and brother, Horace Stacy; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Rosie Bell Waters Landers, aka "Granny," will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at Gowen-Smith Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Clyde Waters. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday.
Rosie was an independent, strong and brave woman who will be sorely missed by her loved ones.
