Robert W. Lenhart Jr., 68, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green, surrounded by his family.
The Coshocton, Ohio native was the son of the late Robert W. Lenhart Sr. and Martha Lois Moomaw Lenhart.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and time at the lake. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Bob worked for Peyton's Inc. (Kroger) for 43 years. He oversaw construction of the Peyton's Mid-South Distribution Center in Portland, Tennessee and served as general manager of that facility until his retirement in 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon Shaw Lenhart, Bowling Green; two daughters, Cathy Bishop, husband, Jeff, Glasgow and Alison Lenhart, Lexington; a sister, Lois Lenhart Wynn, husband, Rick, Columbus, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Sawyer Bishop and Bo Bishop, Glasgow. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 and from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 at J.C. Kirby & Son Lover's Lane Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
