Phyllis Ann Richardson
December 14, 1947 - November 1, 2018
Phyllis Ann Richardson, 70, Summer Shade, Kentucky, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018 at her residence.
Born Dec. 14, 1947, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Arletta Harter Conkright. She was the wife of Carl Richardson, who survives.
She had worked as a custodian in the education system and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors other than her husband, include one daughter, Paula (Brian) Huff, Fishers, Indiana; one stepdaughter, Autumn Swearingen; two sons, John Malek, Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Dan Malek, Crawfordsville, Indiana; two sisters, Patty Proctor, Waynetown, Indiana, and Sue Graves, Crawfordsville, Indiana; one brother, Bill Conkright, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren: Josh, Derrek, Coty, Dakota, Austin and Kaylee Malek, Orion Fusco, Chelcie Bare, Jordin Kirkpatrick and Devyan and Randi Swearingen; and eight great-grandchildren: Corbin, Caiden, Nora, Rhett, Tucker and Noah Malek, and Wyatt and Kristofer Bare.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Bob Jr., Billy and Brian Malek; grandchildren, Destiny and Stella Huff; brothers, Jimmy Conkright and Tommy Conkright; and sisters, Laura Conkright and Judy Black.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery in Waynetown, Indiana.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
