Penny Gail Hagan
September 15, 1962 - November 22, 2018
Penny Gail Hagan, 56, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 at NHC in Glasgow.
She was the daughter of the late Lillian Harper Bray and Roy Hagan. She worked as a sewing machine operator and was a member of Summer Shade Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Terry (Laura Jeanie) Hagan, Glasgow; one sister, Mahala Lane, Edmonton; two nephews, Josh Bray and Gregory Edmiston; three nieces, McKenzie (Dominic Jones) Hagan, Madison Hagan and Lilly Kate Lane; and two great-nieces, Kehlina Jones and Kaveah Jones.
She was preceded in death besides her parents by a special friend, Rikki.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial followed in Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation was 5-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, and on Monday after 7 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hosparus of Barren River and be made at the funeral home.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
