Peggy Jean Coffey, 82, of Edmonton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Metcalfe Health Care Center.
She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Elsie Isenberg Shirley.
Mrs. Coffey was a homemaker and a member of Edmonton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Howard Coffey, of Edmonton; two sons, Tony (Karen) Coffey, of Prospect, and Russ Coffey, of Lexington; one daughter, Tamara (Danny) Poore, of Edmonton; six grandchildren: Nina (Mike) Kleven, of Medford, New Jersey, Tara Williams, of Edmonton, Diana (Chas) Hayes, of Nashville, Katrina (Matt) Howard, of Westfield, Indiana, Megan (Tyler) Gooch, of Louisville, and Jenna Coffey, of Louisville. Six great-grandchildren also survive.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rick Williams.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Missionary Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
