Mary Frances (Pearson) Jones, 83, of Fountain Run, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Allen County, Kentucky, Jan. 24, 1935, a daughter of the late James Emerson and Lola Mae (Hill) Pearson. She married Wendell B. Jones Oct. 9, 1953, who preceded her in death June 17, 1981. She had worked at Austin Tracy School cafeteria and Handmachers, and was a farmer and homemaker and a member of Tracy United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Fountain Run Funeral Home. Brother Dewey Aaron will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Her survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Eddie Pedigo, of Temple Hill; son, Wendell Keith Jones, of Fountain Run; two grandchildren, Candace (Pedigo) Richardson and husband (Adam), and Casey Pedigo and wife Sabrina; five great-grandchildren, Mason, Kaylee and Caden Richardson, and Sydney and Sawyer Pedigo; and four sisters-in-law, Wanda and Rachel Pearson, of Scottsville; Lorene Pearson, of Georgia, and Frances Elizabeth Jones, of Bowling Green. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
