Marlene Paull Cassady
January 31, 1960 - January 27, 2020
Shelia Marlene Paull Cassady, 59, of Summer Shade, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
Born Jan. 31, 1960 in Dearborn, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Lola Carnahan Paull and Rendell Paull.
She was the wife of Danny Cassady, who survives. They were married 39 years.
She worked as a caretaker.
Survivors other than her husband, include one daughter, Shana (Matthew) Thrasher, of Summer Shade; one son, Dane (Stephanie) Cassady, of Taylorsville; one sister, Darlene (Roger) Hodges, of Summer Shade; one brother, Larry (Arlene) Paull, of Crab Orchard; and two grandchildren, Barkley Firkins and Eric Cassady.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, 1 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Willie Dale Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, 3-8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 after 7 a.m. until time of services.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
