Kevin Lee Jewell, 60, Cave City, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017, at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville. He was born June 14, 1956, in Glasgow, to the late Gaston and Fannie Turner Jewell.
Kevin graduated from Caverna High School and worked as a printer/supervisor for more than 30 years. He attended Cave City Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with his cattle on his farms, building motors and driving his Ford Mustangs. Kevin and Lisa spent time together watching UK Basketball and Nascar driver Chase Elliott.
Survivors include his companion of 28 years, Lisa G. Adwell, Cave City; a brother, Kelly Jewell (Trina), Cave City; two sisters, Janice Kenley (Harris), Collierville, Tenn., and Donna Shipley (Tim), Cave City; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with Randy Scott officiating will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 9 at Cave City Baptist Church with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation began Sunday at the church and will continue Monday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
