Jacob S. Schwartz, 95, of Vevay, Indiana, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 at 1:58 a.m. at the home of his son, Levi L. Schwartz.
He was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Berne, Indiana, to Samuel and Elizabeth (Schwartz) Schwartz.
Survivors: sons, Levi L. (Martha) Schwartz, of Vevay, Indiana, Samuel (Lavina) Schwartz, of Glasgow, Jake (Rachel) Schwartz, of Wilton, Wisconsin, Noah (Fannie) Schwartz, of Glasgow and Daniel (Elizabeth) Schwartz, of Glasgow; daughters, Emma Lee, of Bowling Green, Missouri, Elizabeth (Eli) Eicher, of Canton, Missouri, Elma (Jake) Kemp, of Summer Shade and Anna (Alvin) Schrock, of Stanberry, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Lovina Schwartz, of Hardyville; 94 grandchildren; 483 great-grandchildren; 38-great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Verena Schwartz, of Bowling Green, Missouri, Barbara (Eli) Yoder, of Fort Scott, Kansas and Caroline (Rudy) Borntrager, of Bowling Green, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by: parents; wife: Lydia (Hilty) Schwartz; sons, Reuben and Pete Schwartz; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at 9 a.m. central time, 1860 Payne Mill Road Glasgow, Kentucky 42141.
Interment: Old Order Amish Cemetery in Glasgow, Kentucky.
