Geneva (Hunley) Duke-Roberts, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Jan. 29, 2018.
She was born in Lecta, Kentucky on Sept. 26, 1936, to parents, Elbert Royce Hunley and Mary Hunley-Horton.
She was a member of Indianapolis Baptist Temple and the Red Hat Society. Geneva loved to garden and adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Geneva was preceded in death by her first husband, Neal U. Duke; brother, Tommy Hunley; and sister, Louise McCoy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Roberts; children, Sheila Urbanowich (Charlie), Lisa Hurtley (Darrell) and Jeffrey Duke (Machelle); seven grandchildren: Kyle, Kristopher, Ashley (Jeffrey), Katherine, Rebecca, Ryan and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Charlie Duke; siblings, Lois Nunn (Jack), Marilyn Byers and Elbert Royce Hunley Jr. (Martha); and sister-in-law, Janet London.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. Additional calling will be held from noon until the service time of 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, also at the funeral center. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
