Frances Pauline's Story
Ms. Frances Pauline Raney Hire was born on July 19, 1920, in Allen County, to the late George Washington Raney and Florence Jones Raney.
On May 3, 2017, at the age of 96 years, nine months and 14 days, Pauline was called to her Heavenly home. She will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones, but rest assured, from her testimony of salvation, her soul is resting easy in the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ.
Along with her parents, Pauline was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hire; grandson, Michael Joe Hire; and her siblings, Elbridge Raney, Edward Raney, Leona Mae Graves and Lois Dean Williams.
Ms. Pauline Hire is survived by daughter, Pat Hargis and husband, Leland, of Lafayette, Tenn.; son, Ricky Hire and wife, Marilyn, of Summer Shade; grandchildren, Nathan Hire and wife, Megan, of Omaha, Neb., and Crystal Nix, of Florence, Ala.; and great-grandchildren, Logan and Lukkas, Makayla Hire and Jared Hire.
Funeral services for Ms. Pauline Hire were conducted on Friday, May 5, 2017, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rhoads officiating. Interment followed in Haysville Cemetery.
