Dianna Jane Reed Embry, 72, Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her residence.
Born Dec. 9, 1946 in Champagne, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Betty Reed, and the widow of the late Harold Embry.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Shannon LaMae, Cookeville, Tennessee, and April (Andy) Holley, Glasgow; one stepdaughter, Carol Brown, Mammoth Cave; three sons, Jack Slover, Glasgow, Stacy Lee Slover, Cave City, and Matthew Stout, Glasgow; one sister, Beth Ann Brown, Saint Paris, Ohio; one brother, David Reed, Saint Paris, Ohio; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25, 2019, 2 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019, 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday, May 25, 2019 after 8 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
