Charlotte Ann (Ferrell) Dyer
February 4, 1935 - May 14, 2018
Charlotte (Ferrell) Dyer, 83, of Albany, Kentucky, widow of James Franklin Dyer Jr., passed away Monday, in Albany. She was the daughter of Ernie and Opal Lee (Garner) Ferrell, and was also preceded in death by a son, James Franklin Dyer III; and three brothers, Ernie, Tommy and Jimmy Ferrell. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Dyer, of Albany; a sister, Alice Ferrell (and Herman) Glass, of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Sloan (and Andrew) Byers, James Franklin IV (and Megan) Dyer, William Cox and Christopher Cox; a great-grandchild, Wesleigh Dyer. The funeral service for Mrs. Dyer will be Thursday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at Albany United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and again Thursday from 7 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church. Burial will follow in Albany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Albany United Methodist Church would be appreciated. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of Arrangements. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
