Charles William Isenberg
December 12, 1925 - April 13, 2017
Charles William Isenberg, 91, of Summer Shade, died Thursday, April 13, 2017, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born Dec. 12, 1925, in Edmonton, he was a son of the late Lanos and Ruby Jewel Garmon Isenberg and the husband of Emogene Crumpton Isenberg, who survives. They were married 69 and one-half years. He was a farmer and school bus driver. He was a deacon at Summer Shade Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one daughter, Becky (John) Coulter, Glasgow; one son, Joe Neal (Michelle) Isenberg, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Chris Isenberg, Burkesville, Brian Isenberg, Franklin, and Krista Isenberg, Nashville, Tenn.; and one great-grandchild, Headon Isenberg. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, at Summer Shade Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 2017 from noon to 8 p.m. and continue on Monday after 7 until 9 a.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. at the church, until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.

Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
