Cecil Wayne Boston
June 16, 1941 - July 5, 2018
Cecil Wayne Boston, 77, of the Nobob community, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Cloise and Imogene Burgoon Boston, and the husband of Carol Surratt Boston, who survives. They were married Nov. 3, 1963.
He was a farmer and retired from PPG in Ohio. He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife include, one daughter, Michele (Tim) Smith, Edmonton; two sisters, Anita (Bill) Westfall and Charma (Perry Kimberly) Boston; two brothers, Ronald (Sue) Boston and Curtis Boston; one grandchild, Bethany (Thomas Orlando) Boston, Summer Shade; and one great-grandchild, Grayson Orlando.
He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by one son, Michael Boston; one sister Donna Wallick; and one brother, Larry Boston.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 3 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union No. 2 Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 3-8 p.m. and on Sunday after 8 a.m. until time of services at 3 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Union No. 2 Cemetery or Saint Jude Children's Hospital

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
