Anis Pearl's Story
Anis Pearl Ritter Parrish, 84, of Glasgow, formerly of Beaumont, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.
Born March 17, 1933, in Kino, she was a daughter of the late Corbin and Lillie Peers Ritter and the widow of the late Dallas Cotton Parrish.
She was a factory worker and a member of Refuge Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sisters, Joyce Shaw and Vonda (Charlie) Oliver, both of Glasgow, and Glenda Gassaway, Smithville, Tenn.; one brother, Leroy Ritter, Glasgow; one sister-in-law, Alene Ritter, Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruth England, Alyne Smith, Betty New and Velma Hurt; and one brother, Willie D. Ritter.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Gary Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, July 27, after 7 a.m. until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaumont Cemetery.
